This battery appears to work great for the first week or so I've had it. My HTC 10 has plenty of battery life now and no more random shutdowns at all. My phone literally was unusable when unplugged, that's how bad the battery got. Accubattery gives the new one a clean bill of health. Glad I didn't have to buy a new phone yet. This was a great deal, for only 11 bucks I have my phone back. Couldn't be happier. Just one problem. If you buy this battery and plan on using the included toolkit, you must keep in mind that the wrong torx screwdriver size is included. It cannot be used to remove the screws in the HTC 10. The other tools are fine. If you are going to go into this phone, I recommend setting aside at least three hours and taking your time. Make sure you have the correct T5 screwdriver before you start, unlike me. I used a flat head and totally stripped out one of the torx screws. I was lucky that eventually I got it to turn, or the repair would've been impossible and I would've needed a new phone. Just something to keep in mind. Otherwise, the battery itself appears to be of pretty good quality. Works with quick charge, holds a charge pretty well on Oreo 8.0. My battery life has never been stellar with screen on, around 4-5 hours on full charge usually with wi-fi on. But that's a lifetime compared to the literally 60 seconds or less I was sometimes getting with the original battery. I'm just glad I have my phone back and can actually use it again after only 2 years of purchase. Also, I don't recommend using quick chargers if possible. Use a 1 A charger and keep it between 30 and 80 % to extend the battery's life. Don't know the long term performance of this battery. Time will tell how it compares to the original. But so far it is working as it should and I'm very happy with it.Read full review

The price is low for a battery and a tool set; however, I was forced to abandon the disassembly process halfway because of lacking the correct type of screw driver. On the HTC 10 mother board there are a few "star patterned" screws. I checked the included screw driver set, none of them is "star patterened". No matter how hard I tried with any of the included screw drivers, it just did not work and the star patteren of the screw was damaged. Very frustrated. I dud not even have the chance to deploy the new battery.

Very difficult to use just this and get the results you need. This WILL work. Here's my suggestion: The suction cup is laughable. Make sure you have your own that is just a bit less narrow than the screen. BUY A T5 TORX. That's the only screwdriver missing. Also, the picks are made from very cheap plastic so either bring your own or just us a very strong suction cup and a lot of heat. I used a blowdrier and a infrared thermometer and it began separating at about 160 F. Then just find the 40+ min video and follow that. The battery works very well so far.

Did the trick. Not an easy install by any means, but it saved my device which is now my most useful video recording tool. Did the screen and battery at the same time and would recommend the same to anyone needing to replace a screen. Do the battery while you are in there!
