These are very inexpensive but they are a bit of work to disassemble if you are going to rewind. There is a weld seam at the place where the "I" meets the "E" as this is an I&E transformer. I bought a 4 1/2" grinding wheel at the tool store for about two bucks and put it on my body grinder. It does not require a lot of grinding and I relied on a putty knife to strt separating. You will have to sand off glue on the sides and the center leg look as if it were some how slightly welded so after getting the "I" off, sand the end. Thise takes time but this is a hobby. The wire I took off the bobbin was easy to remove and reuseable.
