I'm still quite new to the Mini PLA line, so my only real point of comparison for this was the excellently made GokaiOh. In comparison, I found this wasn't quite as well articulated, mostly due to the shape of some of the limbs obstructing the motion of the joints. I also found the stickers didn't adhere quite as well with this model, and I had to apply some of my own glue in places to get them to stay put. Those issues aside, this was a lot of fun to build. Tyramigo is the main attraction in this set, and it's a faithful visual reproduction of the DX version of the toy. The neck has just enough flex to get some decent poses out of it, though the reverse knees (an artifact of the transformation) and lack of articulation behind the head could have been better. In Megazord mode this looks great, and despite the issues mentioned above you can get a lot of posability out of this model. The one issue I had with it in this mode was that Tyramigo's tail kept falling off the back of it when I tried to change poses - a minor inconvenience at worst. The "Lego" gimmick of swapping parts around was a lot more fun to play with than I was expecting, and I'm now very tempted to order more of these models just to have more parts to play with! On the whole, while I wouldn't place this at the peak of the Mini PLA line, I would still recommend this product.Read full review
