First set was a 3 pack and I needed more so I got the 5 pack and these things are a great invention! They are matched to the remote right out of the box so you just plug a unit into a wall outlet and then a light cord or whatever into the unit. Make sure your plugged in device is turned on and then just use the remote to turn things on & off. I highly recommend these as they are a very convenient tool.
