The blu 1.6mm pens are great to sign docs with, They seem to make your writing enhanced. That said they all due the same thing. They leave a small blob of ink and you never know when. As a result you end up with smeared documents. Not sure if it is the build quality of the ink ball tip design. I would avoid them.

I am a doctor and I need a bold ball point (not gel) pen to sign prescriptions printed on thermal paper. These are perfect for that. They are durable dollar pens and are great for this. The large ball is good for a broad line of blue ink, but if you are looking for a precise instrument for writing letters or checks on real paper, I would look at a better gel ink pen.
