    WARNING WARNING WARNING BOLT PATTERN IS BAD

    Damaged a $600 converter and I have to pull the whole thing back apart & I still need to buy a torque plate. I've been wrenching on cars over 40 years. I always bolt the converter & plate together while on the bench & then mark them both so I can line it back up quickly when I bolt the transmission to block. Never had a problem till this JUNK torque plate. I didn't notice until the last bolt was a 1/4" in...That it was cross-threaded. It took me forever to get it started but I was sure my technique. It has worked on hundreds of transmissions & never failed even once. This torque plate is BAD BAD BAD. BEWARE.... I CAN'T WARN U ENOUGH.
