Works great! Trying to get use to using it. Easy to see effect in water but more difficult to see in sky or scenery. Not the Filter - Me just learning. B+W was highly recommended by professional photographer.

This is my second circular polarizer. The first was a circular polarizer insert for my Canon EF 300 mm f/2.8L IS USM lens. The effects of the B+W was more noticeable in comparison to the Canon polarizer. A stark streetscape was turned into a warm and bright photo of contrast and saturation. Most soft reflections off of glass, metal and other reflective surfaces mostly disappeared. The matte black finished brass ring felt solid. It is a slim filter and turning the front ring required some practice to become accustomed. Fortunately, the filter did not vignette my Canon EF 16-35 mm f/2.8L II USM zoom lens at the 16 mm focal length. The images were sharp. I bought the 82 mm filter and step-down rings to use on smaller filter diameter lenses. The polarizer is my third most important filter behind the neutral density and clear protection filters. B+W filters populate the front of my 10 lenses. I won't go with other brands.Read full review

Professional quality. This is the Rolls Royce of camera filters. Uses Schott glass and there is no better product for photography professionals. Clarity, quality build and great transmission of light are the kets to excellence. This filter and this brand have those sought after qualities.

B+W filters are great quality. Good glass and brass rings make for a higher weight but not a problem. A good camera and lens need a good filter.

I have an older b&w circular polarizer that has a obvious effect, this one seems to have almost no effect.
