This is an excellent piece of equipment. It arrived in perfect condition, not even a scratch in the paint. It's not perfect but given the price point (in comparison with other comparable machines) it is excellent. The Good: The wiring was one of my first worries from things I've read about Chinese lasers, but this one is wired properly with heavier-gauge wire where needed, good solid connections, and the outlets are quality pieces with a firm grip. Also includes a primary circuit breaker beside the outlets. The motion system was a surprise, as only the X axis has the profiled linear bearing, but the Y axis is driven from both sides simultaneously with a single motor and both axes have so far stayed true and square even with repeated fast movement with many turns and stops. The mirrors needed to be aligned out of the box but the mirror and lens housings are of good quality and made this a lot easier than it could have been. The motorized Z bed is an excellent addition, and once the auto-focus system is set up in the controller it saves a lot of time. It surprised me to find that it is chain-driven. A little noisy but it should last as long as anything else in the system. The included air pump works well powered through one of the outlets in the back of the machine and provides adequate air flow through the laser head nozzle while not being obnoxiously loud. The Ruida controller is excellent, a genuine product and one of the newest models. It has a lot of options and a fairly large screen with a number pad and most importantly works flawlessly with Lightburn software. The size of the machine is a huge plus. While it doesn't have side-opening doors to allow passthrough material, it is very roomy. The included tube appears to be a genuine Reci W2, and has performed flawlessly from the start. The Bad: The power supply did NOT come calibrated from the factory. 100% power would have put WAY too much current through the tube. With some time, an analog ammeter and the current adjustment knob inside the supply I was able to dial the max current down to an acceptable 24mA, but this should have been done at the factory to avoid damage to the very expensive laser tube. Likewise the auto focus system is not set from the factory. Mine came set up so that it tried to lower 78mm after contact. Not hard to change in the controller but again this should have been done already. The door switch. You would think that it would be set up to pause the machine's motion and stop the laser when the door was opened, and allow the user to resume when it's closed. It's not. Instead it's set up to cut the power completely to the entire machine. Everything goes dead the instant you open the door, so the controller loses its position and has to reboot. Given the lack of documentation (see later), this caused some confusion during setup wondering why the unit wouldn't power up. The E-Stop button is wired the same way but I can work with that. It also functions as the machine's on/off switch, as it doesn't have one otherwise. Every single removable panel is held in place with a key-operated latch. While eight keys are included (enough for all of them), the fit is loose enough that they will fall out on their own. I ended up gluing the keys into the tumblers so they act as knobs. There are pre-cut positions for a pair of 92mm fans on the electronics enclosure panel, but no fans included. Documentation is non-existent. Any piece of machinery this complex, expensive and delicate should come with full documentation, including installation, setup, use, maintenance and a parts list. This comes with nothing. There are manuals available for the chiller and controller at the manufacturer's site, and some information on this machine is available at HL-Laser but not nearly enough, and it should have all come with it, either in print or as an easily-obtained download. The Unknown: I can't speak for the included exhaust fan or chiller. I replaced the exhaust fan with a 6-inch external model and ordered a higher-end chiller that arrived before the laser. All things considered I like the machine. If they would address a few of the above issues it would be a five-star purchase hands down.Read full review

I have broken parts with the device, I I also have two power plugs in the back of the laser that do not work at all, and I had ti spend an extra 30 dollars because of some thing missing, there were 5 broken nuts that hold the Plexiglas on.
