Not sure if it's as good as the OEM was before it wnt bad.
At this point, (two weeks since installation), I don't think that the support has the same charge and resistance for the rear hatch door to open and close as smoothly as the OEM part did before it went bad. It seems to open with no cushioning and when closing the cylinder's resistance appears to be less than the OEM part. The cylinder isn't w/o charge but it seems to slam.
