    It's great for kids or someone starting out with using a computer.

    Well This is my second ibook G4 and i have to say my first one has better performance then this one but its ok because I bought this for my mother and its a good laptop It's fast enough for the basic stuff like emailing and listening to music. The cosmetics of the laptop are in amazing condition for its age! I just love how its small and portable compared to laptops now days and the battery life seems to go for about two hours. Its great. generally I bought the ibook G4 because of the program that Mac offers and can't find on a windows computer.

    If you know older macs -price is great. If new to mac's stick to Macbook.

    The iBook is definitely outdated and has trouble with flash video and modern websites but considering it's age it is still quite useful especially if you have older software. I use these in a computer lab with office 2004 and iMovie hd. The still perform well editing sd video and creating powerpoint presentations. If you have never had a mac before I recommend skipping these and getting a used Macbook with the intel processor.

    Excellent item for the price!

    for the price ... excellent. The screen isn't as sharp as when new and the USB ports do not work - as was indicated in the e-bay listing - but the price for the product was an excellent value. It will serve its purpose on trips and travel. Than you.

    Fast for the year and operating software

    Apple iBook G4 (M9163LLA) (12.1", 800MHz, 30GB, 128MB) Notebook Would buy another one! Unit boots up fast and connect to wireless internet.
