I recently cut-the-cord and ordered the ClearStream 4MAX antenna. Additionally, I also installed a Channel Master rotation motor/controller, with a Channel master 4 port pre-amp to support OTA signal distribution to 4 total rooms with TVs. To avoid the potential for ongoing issues with parts as result of long-term exposure to the elements I also installed it all in my attic. It works great, and no more worries about the sun, wind, rain, or other issues destroying the investment over the long-term. I get 27 to 33 OTA (over the air) HD channels, with no distortion or signal fade, and the initial cost for the equipment will be recovered in 2 months’ time as a result of cable/sat. monthly expense, ($0 going forward)! No more cable/sat. bills for channels that I don't even watch! I should have done this 7 years ago when OTA moved to digital signals.Read full review

I’m using this antenna indoor. Prior to this purchase, i was using a $55 flat antenna (channel master) indoor. Sometime, i was able to watch CBS and NBC from Burlington, vermont. Now with this more expensive antenna direct 4max, i no longer getting CBS and NBC. Little disappointed.

Works great! All stations come in at full signal except for the lower powered vhf channels which didn't come in at all before. Now they come in at 50-60%. Out performs the mohu sky 60 that we had at our other house. The mohu was setup outside while the 4 max is in the attic, and still pulls more channels at a higher reception. To be fair, the mohu was an awesome antenna but not as good as the clear stream. We are using it split to 7 tv's with an antennas direct 8 way powered splitter and the performance is exceptional. I can't verify the 70 mile claim because our stations are located 20-30 miles away but other than that I would definitely recommend this antenna.

Easy to assemble and install. Be sure to use RG6 cable and a signal booster for best results. I have mine in the attic on a 8" pole. Pulls a great picture.

this gets nearly all the available local stations without having to readjust it all the time. I just have it sitting on a shelf. I think if I set it up more carefully it'll get every channel. I have a clear line of sight to Mi. Wilson above Los Angeles where all of our broadcast TV antennas are (I live about 40 miles away in Long Beach), so I just have to point the antenna in that direction.
