I really like Anker products, and will continue to buy them. But never again "Refurbished". These are simply used. The silicone set with the buds was used and dirty. Several long hairs were pinched under the ear wing set. The ear buds themselves were clean, but had a firmware version from several years ago. The buds and case all work well, and sounds great as expected. All functions work. Indistinguishable from brand new.
I got these refurbished earbuds from ebay because of the great price. I've really been impressed with soundcore Q30 BT headphones, so I decided to try the ear buds. The full on active noise cancelling is really good but it does shorten battery life quite a bit... The normal noise cancelling is not as good but probably doubles the battery life. I don't think I would pay the full retail price of $175 for these but at around $70 for the refurbished, they're awesome. I'm really happy with these.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Good for the price
I am actually very surprised with these. Based on other reviews I was expecting substandard sound quality and a somewhat painful fit. For the price on a refurbished set, though, I figured I'd try them. To my surprised, they are actually really good. Sound quality is what you'd expect from a mid-priced speaker, so better than expected. I also have very small ear holes and can rarely find a bud that fits. These are very comfortable and fit snuggly. So far the only observations/ complaints I have are: 1) No volume controls on them--that would be nice to have, but not completely necessary 2) Pairing the first time was easy, but a little confusing 3) They are a little tough to get out of the case These rival many more expensive earbuds and are a great basic to mid level set. Highly worth the price! I also wanted to answer a couple questions I had but couldn't find answers to: 1) The buds are sloped back, not straight into the ear. The rubber part sits comfortably on the ear hole with the hard housing sitting comfortably in the ear canal 2) The case us hard plastic and the insert is cheaper plastic. Both appear to be very durable 3) The buttons are actually easy to push and do not hurt my ears when I am listening 4) You only need to pair one of the earbuds if both are out of the case. I had 2 pop up on my phone. The sound cancelling is not bad when compared to over the ear style. I work with loud hand tools for work and these do a pretty decent job of blocking it out.
