Unlike others, this telescope has a more robust tripod. The tripod also has the ability to raise the scope about 5" (~12 cm), so although the lenses are higher, the unit maintains its basic stability. Also, unlike others, the focus control is not too sensitive, so for my purposes (target shooting) it's easy to dial in. Also, again unlike others, it has a slide-forward sunshade to restrict side glare. The carrying case is also heavy cordua, not vinyl, so it stays flexible in cold weather (this is important: I am in Canada) and gives good protection. The clarity is as good as anything else I've seen and for my purposes the colours are accurate. (I haven't tried it outside the target range.) The scope arrived on time and was well packaged. I consider this very good value for the money.

getting it 'dialed in' is a little fussy, but clear and sharp. did not have a cell phone adapter for the eye-piece, so will have to pick one up. best to use a tripod (included) vs trying to hold it by hand. good for the price point. lighter than expected, will need to be careful not to bump it. case is padded.

Very nice spotting scope with very sharp and bright optics. I’m surprised and very pleased. Highly recommend if you’re on the fence about committing to purchasing one.
