    The best battery for stop and start Mercedes w204

    I was having issues with my eco functions on my Mercedes c250 cdi w204 2013, e.g. delay activation or none at all. This caused bad fuel consumption. But this battery solved all the problems and it works like brand new car. Thank I'm 100% satisfied

    Drop in replacement for OEM battery.

    This is a straight forward drop in replacement for the OEM battery. There are no fitting issues and once connected up, performs as you would expect. Not much else you can say about the battery. How it performs as it ages remains to be seen. Being a glass mat battery it was more expensive than the flooded cell equivalent but the price was better than expected from RTG and worked out about £20 cheaper than AGM batteries from elsewhere..

    Varta AGM 110 battery

    Bought this for an Alfa Stelvio 2018 as stop start had stopped working and had a random alarm go off on the car. I believe the original is an efb type, but put the varta in and all good can hear the starter much quicker than before, stop start working and alarm all good.

    Great quality battery

    Fitted this to my 2012 E250cdi. It replaced the original Mercedes varta battery. Immediately the eco stop start system has started working again. The price was around £20 more than the cheapest alternative but I feel that it is worth the difference.
