I purchased this stool to use in my music room for playing my guitar. I like to be able to move around a little while I am playing and this stool works great!!! Very well made, the height adjustment is easy to use and it has an very, very comfortable cushioned seat. I would highly recommend this stool to other guitar players!!

I own a massage business and I've bought three of these stools now. One came with a wheel retainer pin missing. The plastic base is a bit flimsy. As long as you are rolling a tile or laminate style floor, it's good. Carpet... even the cheap, "barely could be called a carpet" office building type gives this stool a workout. The foam used for the seat compresses and doesn't spring back to shape after two months of use. These stools are used periodically during a massage and do not get the wear and tear of being sat on for hours like they would at at tattoo shop.

Ad says leather, but it's vinyl. That was a disappointment but oddly not much of one, since I didn't actually expect it would be real leather for a $30 stool even though it said that. Foam is very thick, so it's OK that it is the type the mfgr admits will break down with use. Quality is high for the support mechanism and the thing the wheels snap into. Wheels are cheap plastic, but those are replaceable.
