Good power supply, pi is stable, much cheaper than official PoE hat
I've been running one of these round the clock, and haven't had any power issues powering a Pi 1 model B plus camera and some extra LED lighting. Also runs my Pi 3 just fine. Much better value than the official PoE hat, albeit a little bit bulkier.

Active PoE Splitter Power Over Ethernet 5V 2.4A Micro USB for NanoPI Neo Core 2
This product appears to be a true active PoE splitter. Delivers enough power for an embedded NanoPI Core 2 with Mini shield and USB2UART debug port. Cheaper non-active devices are not able to sustain the Amps needed to power this single board computer from my POE-SW502 BV-Tech 4 Port PoE+ Switch.

Ethernet only stays up when USB is in use
Ethernet link will only come up when micro USB is in use. This makes its use much more limited.
