I highly doubt that you will be disappointed
These speakers are Fantastic. Mounted outside on my house exposed to the harsh Wisconsin seasons, they've delighted my guests, my wife and I during our daily spring gardening reaching all corners of my 1.3 acre lot, and dare I say, a few neighbors, for just shy of 4 years. That's under $9.00 per year for exceptional sound. Everybody has compliments and those that I tell that they were under $40.00 are amazed. These have sounded better and performed longer than any brand that I have tried, including a premium brand known to all. Don’t stop making them. I will be back in 4-5 years, after over a thousand hours use, the abuse of temperature ranges from 20 degrees below to 100 degrees, and the extreme humidity, rain, snow, and sleet finally exhaust them.These speakers are Fantastic. you get what you pay for
300w ? I tried to replace 80w pioneer w/ this they have about 1/2 the volume and no bass or low end. I will try adding a sub to them. In all fairness what did I expect @ this price, and they do handle quite a bit of power (from a high end receiver before distorting but diffidently lacking bass and a bit tinny. For the price not bad just don't expect too much

Sound decent but don’t believe specs
First off, don’t believe the specs of these speakers; 37 Hz is the claim for the low frequency limit, but I’m inclined to believe it’s more like 50 Hz at the very lowest, which is still pretty low for a 4” woofer. The claimed power handling is 300 watts per channel, but if you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you in your choice of 3 colors! I’m using a NAD receiver rated at 40 watts per channel and I’ve got to be careful not to turn it up too loud because these speakers will distort at louder levels. I would guess that 100 WPC would be the maximum power handling, but at reasonable volume levels. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the mid-bass, midrange and treble. For the money, I don’t think you’ll find better in such a small package. Perfect for kicking ... Just what I needed !

Great speakers, lousy mounting system
I've finally managed to get the speakers on the wall. They sound great but the mounting system is awful. The plastic ball/socket mounting bracket system is not able to hold the weight of the speakers properly and because of the design it cannot be adjusted once the mounting bracket has been screwed to the wall.
