This is a awesom video. I love it because it has three seperate workouts which work different parts of your abs each day. Each workout last about ten minutes which goes by fast. When I try to do abs on my own I find myself quitting when it starts to burn but this video pushes me just to the point that I feel I didn't quit and I feel I have accomplished my goal. I tell myself I'm going to do this and before I know it I'm done with my workout feeling my abs tightening up but not to sore that I won't do it tomorrow. After a month you start to see a difference but after three months I had people saying look at her stomach muscles. I have owned this video for years and used is regularly but my house burned down in Feb. and I stoped exercising due to moving and dealing with the fire. Now that things have settled down I am starting to exercise again which is why I had to have my abs of steel video. I use to be a personal trainer and arobics instructor when I was younger but now in my thirties with kids pets and a family I don't have time to spend working out. Now I use my stair master for twenty minutes then do my ten minute abs of steel video and I'm done working out for the day. It really does work and its very effective. I highly recommend it to anyone that needs to get into shape. It's not too hard but its again very effective. The way I feel is if you can't take 20-30 minutes a day to make yourself look and feel better than stay on the couch and hate what you've let yourself turn into. I love this video, because after 30 years its still the best in toning-in-eight-or-ten-minutes videos. You don't need any props, just your own body and some willpower. Despite Tamilee's knowledge of fitness, she never comes off as condescending when she's coaching you. It's easy to think that you can spare ten minutes to do some crunches, so you're not intimidated by the workout. Five stars.
Tamilee has excellent routines. Very focused and boy do you feel it. She tells you exactly what you're doing wrong, like she's right there with you. This makes you concentrate on the muscle group you're working on. The exercises are slow and focused and you feel great the next day. I'm going to get more of her exercises.
I love this workout tape for abs. It has been the most effective abs exercise I have done. Each workout is only 10 minutes, but very effective. Perfect for someone like me who does not have much time to devote to exercise. My only problem is that my VHS tape is wearing out and I need to get another one. I wish I could find it on DVD.
