This is an excellent piece of literature about Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. The insightful preface and the illustrated version of the address are remarkable. This should be required reading, not only in all United States history classes, but also, for every American! Because "that Union soldier" on the glorious day of "July 4, 1937" should "remain prominent in" every American's memory(page 8 of preface). This reviewer also recommends: Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto by Mark R. Levin (2009).
Very thoughtful and very enlightening. Highlights the impact and importance of parents/mentors talking with the younger generation.
