My 20 year old third brake light finally died on my 03 Ford F150, and was a safety hazard to other motorists. This light is a suitable replacement, though not OEM. It does have a couple upgrades in the LED lighting and the adhesive rubber weather seal. You may need to rewire the assembly to the existing OEM wiring- so make good connections, take your time and always use marine grade shrink tubing on connections and this light will never fail you. It gets the job done!

Bulb Fitment issue
Unfortunately the fitment is the issue with these bulbs the flat plate that holds the bulb into the socket is thin.. which causes the bulb to be loose fitting … I am a mechanic so I was able to use a set of o rings around the base of the socket to tighten up the fitment issue … We all know if the bulb is rattling around it will shorten the life span .. Love these lights!!!
I love how you can move the collar and adjust the light beam exactly where it needs to be in the headlight housing. Does not blind oncoming traffic and looks great. I can finally see at night. I highly recommend Auxito led lights. I have trusted them for several years and have changed all my lights over in every vehicle to Auxito Led lights. I have never had any issues with the lights.
