    Great cable cutter

    Been refurbishing bicycles for disadvantaged youth for Christmas. My linesman pliers just could not cut through the stainless steel braid of the brake and shifter cables. These cut through the twist and braids of the brake and shifter cables cleanly, which is important so we can put on the ferrules or caps and crimp them on to the end of the cable. It's a great tool at an affordable price, since I am volunteering to repair these bicycles and providing my own tools.

    Not worth it

    The spring came off before I ever got the chance to use it. I opened it from the box and opened the utters up and closed them than walked inside my house and when I set the pair down, it was missing the spring. I found it right outside where I had opened the box up. Don’t know how it cuts cause I haven’t tried it yet, but why bother if the spring is just gonna fall right off again. There’s a much better pair for sale up here and it’s a couple bucks cheaper.

    Great tool for cutting wire rope and a true energy saver....

    I love it, I only wish I had bought it years ago.... Worked so well I was shocked.... If I had it to do over though I would have bought one with a crimper on it....

    Works Great!

    For a pair of budget wire cutters they work great for cutting inner and outer bike cables. I tried regular wire cutters and snips and only frayed it. But these gives a clean cut. I will have to see the longevity of it but otherwise I definitely recommend.
