This was an excellent product. My garage was damp and things would mildew. Put this Dehumidifier in there, hooked a small hose to the pump, no more musty damp smell, no more mildewing. It's a great product.

It removes moisture but it is very noisy. Particularly the pump. I have a Whirlpool that is the same size and is very quiet. I also find that the humidity gauge on the unit is not accurate. I have two separate humidity gauges which both read 65% while the hisense reads 30%. So it basically stops removing moisture at 65% even though it reads 30%.

We've been running this dehy for about a month now and have been happy with the results. It was simple to set up and easy to operate. I have been using the pump feature and it discharges to a utility sink about 2 feet off the ground. It dried a good size basement in a few days. This unit circulates air better tha other units I have owned and this allows the dehy to cover a larger area. This was purchased for our business to remedy humidity problems and allow us to make corrections to the buildings. We will be able to do this successfully with the drier conditions the HiSense has achieved.

Installed this in a heated crawl space for over a month. The unit is fairly noisy. The pump is reluctant to work forcing me to put it in a suspended location so it can drain into the houses drain system. Seems to dehumidify adequately. overall average.....the pump was the feature I was most interested in having and it does not work reliably.

Pump feature is noisy but can pump up to 14’ up. This machine is working well in our large basement.
