I think it will work.
Better than I expected, but not as good as it could be. It's not ARB, but it's also not ARB priced. If I had to guess, the fabric is a little bit lighter weight than an ARB, and the aluminum is a bit thinner. I know that some of the "engineering" is missing - to help prevent damage in wind storms, there needs to be some flexibility in the joints, and this model doesn't have that. So, think of it as a light duty awning. Better than I expected, but not as good as it could be. It's not ARB, but it's also not ARB priced. I put this on a Volkswagen camper van it’s exactly what it needed easy to set up super lightweight The mounting brackets that came with it didn’t work for my application so I made some that worked great

save your money, spend more and go with name brand
didn't last more than 2 uses. I set it up once at home to test, and then again at the beach. the metal poles aren't very strong and the hinge points sometimes get stuck. Pretty disappointed because I was really excited to use this.

It’s an odd size compared to the others I’ve seen for sale but exactly what I needed. Actually 7’8” witch I needed under 8’. Perfect!! Haven’t mounted yet but I unrolled and inspected. For the $ you can’t go wrong. Anxious to see how it will hold up near salt water for the next 6mos!!
