I'm actually really pleased with this one. I can get about 1200 watts out of it. It's not as good as the higher-end inverters by any stretch, but it will do nicely until I can afford one. I connected some 2 gauge wire (rated at 115 amps) between the inverter and the old car batteries that I have hooked up to it. Don't use the provided cables because they look to be about 10 gauge, and I would not go higher than 30 amps (360 watts for 12V battery) with them.
