Fitted very easily by removing two screws. It came already charged and ready to use. I am able to use the boost function once more which I haven't been able to for a number of years. The Dyson works as good as new. I only ordered an identical rated battery to be safe. Not sure how an uprated battery would perform. My Dyson is only used as a backup unit to my Robovac so should last a few more years hopefully.
