THIS MOTOR HAS NOW BEEN IN SERVICE FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS WORKING IN A MOTOR CYCLE SHOP RUNNING ALL TOOLS AS WELL AS BEAD BLASTING CABINET AND 3 LIFTS NOT A MINUTE OF GRIEF AS WELL IT DOESN'T RUN HOT . ITS THE ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER OF ELECTRIC MOTORS : ) SPANKING GOOD DEAL

Not as described used not new damaged in shipping.
This motor has a small bolt inside rolling around i paired $30.00 to have it removed. This motor was to be new but was used. The i removed the cover to get to the wires they insulation had already been removed back to expose the wires and the wires had been wrapped around before. So that tells me the motor was used not new as the ad description said. The cover that protects the fan at the rear of the motor was smashed against the fan which was plastic so i had to remove the fan cover then beat the cover out so the fan can turn without braking off the plastic fan blades.This happen because the someone dropped the box on its side that the fan was on and caused the very heavy motor to smash the over into the fan blades. Don’t buy one of those cheap Oriental built 💩POS💩 It won’t save you any loot to go cheap since you’ll have to purchase a qty of (3) pos’s b/c that’s how many of them you’ll go thru before this ((model # L1410 5hp Baldor)) gives up. Eventually the insulation on windings will get crusty & start cracking & peeling; eventually causing a fault; so before that... re-wind motor. The most HD best build available today... STILL 100% 🇺🇸 American built W/ 🇺🇸 USA made parts to this very day! Idk how they do it but hey they are the BEST IMHO 😀 Shame on you profit greedy brands; Leeson, Century, weg, GE, Lincoln, & other “American” Companies. Tear any of these ((formerly)) USA built motors apart & compare their workmanship these days, the tolerances, & build quality are up short compared to ...
