I filled the bottles with water and strapped one to each leg of my gazebo, which was not staked down. During the show, we were hit with high winds. While other gazebos suffered damage, ours was able to sway with the winds and survived he windstorm without the slightest bit of harm. I highly recommend this method of waiting down your gazebo.
