I paid too much for mine, but if you can get it under $80, then that's a good buy. Keep the styrofoam for the bottom half. It can lose heat pretty quickly. In my situation it seemed to hold the humidity too well, and I added water to 3 channels not knowing I was starting at 30-40% local humidity. Moral of the story, start it up, add water AFTER it's been running to see how much humidity it already has going. The thermometer isn't accurate, use a back up or two, follow the instructions to calibrate it "CA" is the code that shows for that setting. I have 13/16 eggs in lock down now, so I'd say it works well at this point.

Don't waste your money. I wish I would have read reviews before purchasing. I lost all eggs. Not one chick. I am experienced with raising chicks in an incubator. 37.5 c is 99.5 f, however on this incubator it is about 85 F. It will not warm to 99.5. I added 2 different thermometers which had the same temperature.

I needed a separate incubator as my Brinsea is on the fritz, this is price effective and 2x a large as the Brinsea model 20 I have. I received it, set it up and had some issues with understanding the directions. The does NOT convert to Farenheit * only uses Celcius, so use the default setting or look up a cross reference table on the Internet. The humidity "adjustment" is basically keeping enough water in the trays to keep up the %. I found the best success by using the squeeze bottle provided and putting a rubber plug in the hole on the side of the incubator to keep it from rapidly changing %. Once you get it balanced its easy to maintain. A plus is the inside dimensions and the turner tray works perfectly. Overall a good value in a decent incubator that can be sterilized after use. This is much better than the foam incubators that are sold - I had one of them and they are difficult to sanitize.Read full review

I started using the incubator two weeks ago. It is very easy and simple to use, plug it, put the eggs inside the incubator, add a little bit of water and wait till they are hatched. It seems to be made of good and durable plastic, everything is automatically adjusted, temperature and humidity are all factory set. I didn't make a mistake purchasing this incubator.

I bought this as a Christmas gift so of course,I dont know exactly how easy it is to use,or how well it does the job.I did think it was a good buy, hopefully. I rated it good only by the looks of the product when it arrived. It came very quickly and an accutate description. This is soley what I based my review on. I will be able to give a better developed review after Christmas.
