    easy and very well thought out gizmo

    Makes great soft boiled eggs......I only clean the pierce needle with a soapy Kleenex and rinse....that's it........fast perfect eggs in several minutes.....temporary auto shutoff means I dont need to "Mother" the several steaming minutes.....no thee to wait 5 or 10 minutes for a covering pot of water to boil and then still need to cook......in about a minute the several ounces of water needed begins to steam-cook. ....BE SURE to keep you eggs upright in carton as packed, and be sure to move from carton to load on the steam rack IN THE SAME ORIGINAL UPRIGHT ORIENTATON so the egg's internal bubble is on top where you pierce the shell.....easy to do because needle is built into the little measuring cup ......some buyers don't read the Hints and directions and so load their eggs wrong, ...

    CJUISINART CEC-10 EGG CENTRAL COOKER -- CRACKED EGGS

    I "like" the product, EXCEPT, no matter what I do, I get way too many cracked eggs. I load them with the pointed side downward - and the broad side up and pierced with a hole as instructed. And I have tried, multiple times, to set my portable kitchen alarm at various time settings, hoping to not have a third of my eggs cracked. Cracked eggs disturbs me because I want to store them (about 10 per week) without compromising the inner egg whites and yolks. Why are they cracking like that? I use Organic Brown eggs, if that means anything. Heck, I might as well go back to my small pot and use the stove top burner. I would love to give this product 5 stars - but, I believe the watts are just too high. I should mention that I set my portable timer for (only) 13 minutes, and then remove the ...

    Game Changer

    We love this little unit, it is and does everything as advertised. Omelets, pouched, and best of all hard boiled to perfection. The best part, the steam allows for the shells to peel off so easy, sometimes in one piece. I can peel ten hard boiled jumbos in ten minutes. We don't mind being asked to do the deviled eggs for a party anymore!

    Egg cooker that cooks

    This little egg cooker, cooks as advertised. It has a well thought out design, expect to use it for a long time. You will have to experiment a little to get the exact results you want. I had to cut way down on the water, for the very soft, soft boiled eggs I like. I love it.

    I read a Chicago Tribune article, Top 5 Best Egg Cookers For 2021. They considered 56 models, consulted over 200 consumers; they rated this Cuisinart Egg Central as "without question the best on the market". After using it for a few weeks, I have to agree, it's awesome. I love it! Much post-purchase satisfaction. It'll cook up to 10 eggs at once hard, med, or soft, in the shell; poach up to 4 at once in a little tray, or an omelette in another tray. Well made, durable, good looking product.
