Product Information

Pilotwings 64 is the 64-bit sequel to Shigeru Miyamoto's classic Super NES flight simulation game. Like the original, you must master different vehicles and reach certain goals to achieve flight licenses. The main objective in Pilotwings 64 is to attain a bronze or better for all three vehicles per class. For each flight you take, you are rated on a scale of 1 to 100 in such categories as accuracy, time, and angle. <br><br>Three main vehicles and four bonus vehicles are at your command. The hang glider and rocket belt from the previous game are joined by the all-new gyrocopter. Bonus vehicles include human cannonball, skydiving, "jumble hopper," and "birdman." The gyrocopter replaces the original game's light plane, while the skydiving portion is no longer a main event. Pilotwings 64 includes a built-in EEPROM chip to save the progress of two games. You can also take (and save) a limited number of "pictures" while playing, reminding you of the places you've visited while soaring through the air.

    Adrenaline Junky The Game

    Pilotwings 64 is a Gyrocopter, Hang glider, Jetpack simulator. Along with some other bonus challenges, you fly through different courses achieving various objectives with the vehicles mentioned. Sometimes you'll fly through rings, sometimes your shooting a giant robot with missles. Pilotwings doesn't have any plot or story. It's main claim to fame are its beautiful scenery and immersive piloting mechanics. This isn't Microsoft flight simulator, but you'll be fighting that stick as you try to land accurately and softly on the finish line to score the most points. I'd recommend Pilotwings if you like mastering your skills at piloting different aeronautical machines.

    Fun game. Clean cartridge as advertised.

    Out of my collection, this was among the easiest to dump proving it was clean. The game is about as fun as Pilotwings for the Super Nintendo, all though the controls aren’t much better. Sometimes it can still be frustrating to gauge where the ring or target is. At least it’s easier to tell where things are, and still is probably a better game than the original.

    Good game like the old days

    The graphics are what you expect for playing in a Nintendo 64 but that’s part of the hype to me. I love this game. Brings back a lot of fun memories throughout the years.
