      great paf

      I've played a couple different models from duncan, dimarzio and gfs... but this one is my favorite in the bridge position. it's got a beefy smooth low end, soft but sweet highs, and a thick low mid push. what really appeals to me, though, is that the harmonic response is open and lively like an unpotted pickup... but it IS a potted pickup and squeals are not a problem. really the best of both worlds. i use this primarily in a very high gain setting... and it sustains and sings with the best of them, while retaining clear note definition and dynamic response. never looking back
