Functions flawlessly
I had this thermostat at my previous house, and wanted the same at my new one; however, the first one I purchased on eBay had an issue that prevented it from energizing and switching the valve to cold, so I had it rigged with a manual switch. Trane problem solver thermostat !
This is an excellent thermostat and does exactly what it's supposed to do. It is very easy to program and cycles my Trane heat pump where as my original thermostat that came with the unit wouldn't. However, my original that came with my new Trane unit was some off the wall "cheapie" that the installer provided. The unit wanted to run all the time.
