    Atech 2GB Kit Lot 2x 1GB PC2-6400 6400 DDR2 DDR-2 800mhz 800 Desktop

    Installed memory in Two computers one for my Daughter and in Grandsons, in Both cases this Maxed out the amount of memory in the computers. In both cases operations of the computers were faster. My Daughters computer is running Vista and the additional 2GB made a big difference. My Grandsons was running XP and the difference was not as great. But it will allow him to run a couple of games he could not run before. I would recommend this memory to any one wants to increase memory but does not have a lot of money to spend.

    Liven up your PC's performance with extra RAM

    These are 1 GB RAM chips. I have four of them installed in a Dell Dimension C521 desktop computer. This is the maximum 4 GB of RAM that the motherboard can take. It improves the performance of the computer. Whatever is lacking in performance is not because of the RAM chips but because of the limitations of the CPU and motherboard.

    Good value for upgrading older computers for seniors

    I added this RAM to to an older computer and installed Linux Mint 18 'Cinnamon' 32-bit. I discovered M$ and computer manufacturers deliberately lobotomize motherboards to favor M$ products. The original operating system was 32-bit Vista Media Center. I could only install a 32-bit operating system. It would not install or boot any 64-bit Linux. This RAM improved the boot time and response of the OS that I installed and some senior will appreciate a free computer.
