This is a great tool, especially for the price. I've already used it on a couple of projects that would have been a lot more difficult any other way. I've seen these around for years but never knew how much I really needed one until a contractor showed me his. My only minor complaint is the set of blades that come with it - a wider assortment would showcase the value of the tool even more. A real workhorse, easy to handle
Right out of the bag it trimmed 25 door jams. Didn't even break a sweat. Then I used it to straighten out a snakey fascia board. Normally would have had to take it down. Great tool for the money
This Rockwell was about half the price of competitors but works excellently. I bought it to do plunge cuts on stair tread'a bullnose and it cuts like butter. It would have been a long and tedious task with any other tool. Also worked well for sanding in tight nooks and crannies. Like it so much that I bought another as a gift for my son. Excellent tool; poor service part availability!
This tool is very versatile for sawing in limited spaces, scraping, and sanding with the one tool. A serious criticism of the manufacturer is no availability of replacement for the most highly stressed and first to wear out part, the ball bearing that translates the motors rotation to the vibrating fork.
