  • If you run old school Shimano levers, these things ROCK, esp for the price

Outside of the suggestion to immediately replace stock brake pads w KoolStop Salmon ones, these things are superb. Modulation and super efficient stopping power is only bested by Paul Mini-Motos - which cost about twice as much. If you want performance X bling on a budget, this is the way to roll - especially if you have Shimano brifters that precede handlebar shifting routing. Setup was a breeze. I do wish they would do more (vibrant) colors - the black looks great, but their choice in blue and red anodization seem less intense and pleasant than many other manufacturers versions of those colors. Take your color cues from Chris King, Paul, and White Industries, and you will have a complete grand slam here, TRP!

  • Amazing canti alternative

Easy to setup, high-quality parts and finish and great stopping power, almost too much if you aren't careful. If you want to move from cantis this a great alternative. There are cheaper options out there, but the quality and setup won't be on par. There is a cost for this, so if on a budget, you should consider a cheaper option (Tektro Minis come to mind) understanding there will be some compromise in performance.
