Great value
This is an amazing card. It's perfect for playing games at 1440p. I have this in a Fractal Design Meshify-C case with 3 intake fans and 1 exhaust and I've never seen the temps get past 65C. This card is very quiet. While playing games, I cant hear it over my Ryzen 2700x stock cooler. I doubt it would be much different if I was using liquid cooling. One of these days I'll see how much I can overclock it but games play smoothly at ultra settings so it's not a big deal right now. I picked up this card for $450 on Newegg's Ebay site before Christmas. Normally I don't spend this much on a video card but I was upgrading from a mid-range nvidia card that was 6 years old and I bought a 1440p gaming monitor so the value was definitely there. Beautiful colors, major frames, and an overall great graphics card.
Amazing graphics card for the price, although I think spotting an additional $100 or $150 would be worth it for the 2080, this is still a great choice in late 2019 for pumping out frames in video games. I can run the latest games in ULTRA settings and get over 100FPS with a 2k resolution, which is impressive. Another thing to think of is your monitors HZ rate. Because I run @ 144hz on my 2k monitor having ~120-140 frames at 2k is fine by me, it looks smooth and beautiful. The color depth is amazing too. This card is golden and it shipped quickly.
This card arrived in 4 days which is pretty quick for me. Shipping wasn't free but, I don't care, this card is a freaking beast. I am able to run Battlefield V at 60-90FPS on ultra with Ray tracing turned on. Other games like Paint the Town Red and beamng drive run at 100+ FPS maxed out. The fan is some what quiet when gaming intensely at ultra detail and the GPU stays cool too. This video card was a good replacement from a GTX 1060 6GB. One thing to note though is, it's heavy.
