      Items in lovely condition. By now, I've played the records several times each. Maybe I danced. Maybe I didn't. You'll never know. But know now that the items are fire. Packaging fire.       A classic truck and classic railroad faithfully modeled

      In the 1990's First Gear produced a number of 1/34 scale diecast models of classic trucks. The Mack B61 is probably the most easily recognizable and First Gear issued this truck in a very wide range of colors, markings, and logos. The B-series Mack was built by Mack Trucks from 1953 to 1966 and featured a classic design with large pontoon fenders and a small rounded cab. The First Gear Mack B61 shows "Thermodyne Diesel" in tiny script on the hood, so this model truck would have either a 6 cylinder or 8 cylinder Mack diesel engine of 11.0L or 14.2L size. The B61 Mack design predated high speed Interstate freeways and so B61 Macks were low horsepower and used a large number of gears in two transmissions for low speed operation.
