    Love it!

    I have used several different heaters in my 75 gallon tank and this Eheim 250W is by far the best one ever! Recently, while cleaning my tank, I forgot to unplug my previous heater, ultimately damaging the thermostat. During my research to replace it with one that had a safeguard against out-of-water hazzards, I saw some great reviews on the Eheim, plus the reasonable price and subsequently purchased this one. Not only does it shutoff when the water level is low, it also has a built-in temperature calibrator. I did purchase a slightly more powerful heater than is needed for my tank but I prefer a heater that doesn't have to work so hard to do its job. So far, I'm very impressed and pleased with this purchase and highly recommend this heater.

    Nicest heater I've ever bought

    Well designed, sleek profile, smart functions that make it easier to deal with, automatic shutoff if it is above water so it won't break. I would recommend this to anyone who keeps fish, and I'll buy this brand from now on.

    Why settle for less than the best?

    I already had one, so the choice was only who had the best price. You can depend on good service. The cord is long and thick, and the pilot light is easily visible. If I do a big water change, I don't unplug the unit. It doesn't overheat or explode. Don't buy the bargain-basement Chinese dreck. Get an Eheim!

    Good price works perfect temperature is 100% accurate my neighbor just bought a cheap one from eBay it arrived and does not work so I am more than happy with my purchase and will be getting another one soon
