    Old school Sonos works perfectly

    This device is the same as the newer Sonos Connect: device, except for the wifi functionality. It does not include the wifi upgrade in the newer Sonos devices, and in particular the Sonos Boost wifi access point. (It will work fine with a Boost device, you just won't get the extra wifi bandwidth.) I don't really care because I hardwire all my Sonos devices at home into my ethernet LAN. Works like a champ! Buying the newer devices would be a waste of money for me.
