But other than the shorter-than-average battery-life (you get what you pay for, but for this price I cannot complain!) this player read my TF card with MP3s and if I plug it in it'll play thru its own speaker. There's a little slot to connect a lanyard and it came in a nice little box with a connecting cable. When I thought there was a problem, the vendor responded right away. I would buy from this vendor again.
