Good performance from a pint size machine
Over good quality and decent power for a pint size machine. I wish the inlet valve was metal as the high-pressure outlet valve is, as when you barley move it, the hose connection moves and the machine leaks and sprays water out the bottom. The wand and spray fitting work very well and the power cord is very long for easy access to most outlets from the driveway. I do wish the high-pressure hose was another 5 feet in length to get all around a car without having to move the machine. I simple upgrade to that would be a great addition to this package. Received my sun Joe pressure washer in a timely manner. Opened box to find a pressure washer in the box and a little packing paper. Attached handle, found bottom of housing broken but only cosmetic. Hooked up to water to use. Worked great for 2 minutes, then pump began pulsing. Tried everything to get it to work properly, with no success. Boxed back up and returned for a refund thankfully. Almost perfect and more than I expected for the money.
Rhe only problem I've experienced is with the supply hose connector It's made of plastic and will not hold the hose to the machine when attempting to move the machine I purchased a brass adapter to replace the plastic one supplied and now I can move the machine wherever I need it without breaking the connection to the hose. Pressure is adequate and I enjoy the fact the machine completely shuts down when you release the trigger on the wand. That was an unexpected benefit. Almost Ideal
Just like the other Sun Joe Pressure Washers I’ve had before, the leaking issues are unacceptable. I had to buy aftermarket replacement parts just to be able to keep the hoses attached. Once that’s done, the washer works fine. It’s also a pain finding attachments that are compatible. I started using it right away and washed 3 cars then attacked a mess on the Patio was covered with mold and moss (we live way down south close to the Gulf) and in one day knocked that out looks brand new going to paint it and make it look great! tomorrow I am going to get back on the carport and driveway and clean it up! I believe it has a automatic shut off when you need to give the motor a break which is good for us DIY guys so we don't overheat it. I am delighted with this purchase and remanufactured is as good as new when you get a 2 year warranty! the price was far less than new ones and these days every dollar counts. Bought a refurbished product that they forgot to refurbish
Bought a refurbished pressure washer that they claimed to "have minor scratches and blemishes" it didnt say anywhere in the description that the connector for the wheel should be completely broken and unusable. Even if it broke during transit that would still be unacceptable. Close but plastic parts where plastic just cant hold up.
The Unit works and for what it is it does a decent job until you need to move it. The Adapter for the garden hose is plastic with different threads. any movement left or right it pops off. eventually the threads will probably strip off . Unfortunately I no longer have the Box to return. if I move the unit in any manner that puts stress on the garden hose adapter it pops off so I need to stop , turn off the water ,unscrew the Garden hose move the unit the 5 feet i need it moved screw it back in and turn water back on.
