    my personel opion

    I did heating /air conditioning when I was in the work force. Emerson. a.k.a. white Rodgers the 1f78-151 programmable is one of the best economical thermostats you can buy. last a long time. is priced right. and gives you four set back times. pretty much works with any heating and cooling systems. use it all the time. at my home. this is my own opinion take it for what its worth.

    I have used this stat in the past. and have no problem with it. recently I ordered one. that came in with a scrambled display. they will be mailing me another. but I did heating and a/c work for a living. and this for the most part has been a reliable stat. and works well. for the cheap price. this is totally my opion. take it for what its worth. just because I got a bad one. that happens with all stats no matter what you pay. but this one is pretty universal and cheap for the price. and does work well on most heating and a.c units. that's all have a nice day

    It works well!!!

    Only issue I have, and product is not scored against, is that it definitely is a pain to wire it! I used hemostats to hold, aim, and then press the wires in place! It does take time! Product is fine, and I am about 10 years late in replacing the one I cursed at annually! Good value, functional and is illuminated also! Highly recommended!
