Convert a hinged door to a self-closing door with this Prime Line Products safety spring door closer. This white piece of hardware weighs just 0.8 pounds and features die-cast construction. It mounts onto the surface of a door's frame and offers a non-handed design for convenience. The holes are already drilled into its metal platform, allowing for a 1-inch-wide base and 4.25-inch hole center spacing. One month in . . . and no complaints.
Purchased the spring door closer to use on the house's front gate (between the kids, UPS, FedEx, USPS - "etc." - it's left wide-open more often than not). Easy and quick to install (and is by all appearances well-made). As per the above title - it's been in use for only a month . . . but has thus far done a good job of keeping the gate closed - and this homeowner happy! :-) (Note: attaching the closer with metal screws [included] to a WOOD frame requires little effort . . . but I imagine a metal or PVC foundation will require more in the way of time and tools [electric drill].)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
