    Trendnet TU2-ET100

    It's a niche product, handy temporarily when installing an operating system when the new or obsolete distro (Linux? Win?) does not support the internal Ethernet port. Also handy when there are no available PCI or PCIx slots available to install an Ethernet card. The TU@-ET100 is a low cost easy solution.

    Been using that model for years

    It plugs and plays, under Linux, no drivers needed, on both my Raspberry Pi and my desktop PC. Buying more to replace a couple that got fried in a thunderstorm, and plan to continue using the same model as long as it is available..
