    Exceeds expectations!

    Day 1 after getting modem recognized by xfinity/ Comcast in their system . This modem/ router exceeded my expectations of download speeds in 265 to 275 mbps . Should be great from streaming tv and video which is what I want it for so I can cut the cable bill. Only problem was with Comcast tech department e argued about whether or not it was compatible with their system. I won and it was compatible. I think they were trying to get me to buy from them not happening. Now to see if Netgear is durable will update later but looks good so far .

    No Software/Support

    II bought this for Comcast internet to save money on the router I rent, and I live in a metropolitan areas. In 2016, products like this are expected to have downloadable software on the manufacturer's website. On the netgear website one cannot download software for the device and cannot download the firmware upgrade (which does exist but you must buy the device from netgear brand new). The Netgenie software, is not available on Netgear's website unless again, you bought it brand new. I obtained the software, and even when directly connected to the router, I could not access the router via net genie. Netgear didnt make the software, another company did, much like the components in their router that require firmware upgrades.

    Works Great!

    Pros ------ The AC-series of Wifi Cable Modem-Routers are way faster than the N-series. This Modem-Router works as expected and is currently getting me the high speeds prescribed by my network provider. At this price, this product is a bargain when you compare with other AC Modem-Routers in the market. Cons ------- I could not find a power cable or a coaxial cable with the device. I had to get my own separately.

    Great product, Great price!

    The government wants most of my money and Comcast wanted the rest. I bought the Netgear AC1750 C6300 Router Modem to save the $13 a month rental cost. This works much better than the Comcast unit and at that rate will be paid for in 7 months. Before changing it out I downloaded the user manual to have it handy so I had no issues hooking it up and then contacting Comcast to change it over.
