    Eminence Cannabis Rex

    Keep in mind that different amps like different speakers. Also, it depends on what style of music you play and what kind of sound you need. I mainly play blues rock so I wanted a Fender type vibe with a little hair on it as my platform sound and then add my effects. This speaker does a great job for me. It's full but articulate and it's very efficient so your amp will open up. It sounds great on its' own but marries up with very well with a Celestion Vintage 30 in my 2 x 12 cab.

    Revamped my amp

    Put this 12" Cannabis Rex in my little Fender Champ12; wow, what a difference! It is a more efficient speaker than the stock one I replaced. I no longer have to fight to cut over the drummer in the mix at rehearsals, and I actually used the little 10 watter at a small gig this past weekend! Every note is more defined with a clarity on the top end, yet still warmer overall than before. Mind you, it isn't even broken in yet! Champ12's have a reputation for being boxy and dark due to the size of the cabinet and the stock speaker, but the C-Rex really opens the amp up nicely. This speaker just gave my little amp a new versatility and a much better sound quality. I wish I hadn't waited so long to make the swap, it is just that much better sounding, with a punch that cuts through the mix well. ...

    Best classic rock speaker out there

    These Canibis rex speakers do it all, I bought a 12" 8 ohm 50 watt speaker . After a week of play time its sounds even better, I dont think you can find a better speaker, It is nice and punchy, but yet smooth in the highs when pushed, nice tight low end focus, Silky smooth through out the frequencies, I would suggest buying one or 2 of these, They rock and rock hard, reminds me of good quality gear from the 1950"s.; Thanks emminence for building a better speaker for us rockers,

    Tamed the beast. Use in a hot Rod deluxe 3 . This speaker with some tube swapping made the amp awesome in the first overdrive. No pedals for me .
