    Not as useful as it looks

    In short you would be better off using a finger. The problem is that it is tough to get into the corners. If you look at the top grey tool you can see that it is over 90 degrees, like the corner of a tub and wall is. If you use the top tool the other two sides that you are not using press against the wall and tub making it hard to get the corner you are using fully in. The bottom tool has 90 degree sides but on the top one you can see that if you extend a 90 degree line from the corner you want to use you will hit the other two sides where it bumps out a bit. The removal hook is a bit more useful but on hard latex caulk I had to use a metal knife as this plastic tool wasn't sharp or strong enough.     Works fine if you have the basics or can use youtube

    This is a fine tool for the homeowner which I am. One review complains that the edges are not 90 degrees. Well, of course not. It you look at the instructions or a good youtube video on caulking you see that the tool or tube is always held at an a non-90-degree angle to the work so the tool tends to push caulk in and smooth it as it's dragged along creating the bead. If you used tape and this tool it can be quick and give great results. The tool gives lots of different choices on thickness. I have also used the caulk removal hook and it works well enough to remove 90% of the dried caulk, then I just can zip down one surface using a single edge razor blade window scraper the then adjoining surface.
