Limited double vinyl LP pressing. Herzeleid is the debut album by German Neue Deutsche Härte band Rammstein. It was released on 29 September 1995. The album's original cover depicted the band members' upper bodies without clothing. This caused critics to accuse the band of trying to sell themselves as "poster boys for the master race". The album is a culmination of the relationship troubles of all but one of the six band members, hence the title Herzeleid (heartbreak). Rammstein formed in 1994 in Berlin. Throughout it's existence, Rammstein's six-man lineup has remained unchanged-lead guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe, bassist Oliver "Ollie" Riedel, drummer Christoph "Doom" Schneider, lead vocalist Till Lindemann, rhythm guitarist Paul H. Landers, and keyboardist Christian "Flake" Lorenz. The band helped to found a subgenre within German hard rock and metal that became known as Neue Deutsche Härte. The majority of their songs are in German, but they have also performed songs entirely or partially in other languages including English, Spanish, French, and Russian.

    Awesome album!

    I purchased this album cos it’s my favorite Rammstein album and I just had to have it on vinyl. It sounds great when I played it! I was jamming out pretty good to it LOL. When the record came it was wrapped up all nice and secure. I would buy it again for sure!
