    An Excellent Buy

    I really love this pressing comb. It's sturdy and does a wonderful job straighteningh my coarse hair. My only problem is with the power button. It is in the wrong place and if you're not careful you will accidently turn it off. If Andis corrected this issue it would be an ideal product. I would have rated it 5 stars but the issue with the placement of the power button is a real turn off for me.

    Buttons in wrong place

    On & off buttons & temperature adjustment in wrong place, or should be recessed. Each time you use comb unit will turn off or temperature will increase. Adjustments should be below the contour so can't accidently touch or put a cover over controls to close down once set .Better yet need to be on power cord like an electric blanket. Other than that no complaints. Heats up quickly, seems to hold temperature once set during use, stable in your hand . Mainly handle is not wood like old 1s and comb doesn't spin around in handle. Only use 1 week skipping days and comb gold finish looks good.

    Does its purpose

    Mixed feelings about this andis hot comb straightener. I like its lightweight, has a high heat temp, auto shut off feature(not 100% sure) and does its purpose. But the reason I'm giving it only 3 stars is because it pulls your hair out. Rips it. Theres a tiny space between the hot comb and handheld part, and hair gets caught in it and only way to get it out is cut or RIP. I had this happen while using it and it was in a more noticeable area. Not a good look. And it's a big deal. A woman with more coarse hair or curly thick hair this issue would definitely happen alot. My hair at the time of use was already straight and this happened. So yea a good buy but not worth ripping hair out.

    Ok....that was a fast delivery

    This pressing comb has promise. It does get hot fast and although the temp settings go up to 15, you really shouldn’t need to go over 10. I have to Gold n Hot (doesn’t get hit enough) pressing comb and this one is far better. This will makes pressing hair much easier. And did I mention I ordered on a Friday (8/16) and received it on a Sunday (8/18)...that’s fast.
