    A high quality, but lightweight stand that will take weight and telescope up higher than most others.

    At first this speaker stand seems a little pricey, although you can get it for as low as $49 from some sellers. But, compared to the lower cost versions, this stand is absolutely worth it. It's made of a very sturdy aluminum that is honestly firm and gives you the security of knowing it can hold a heavy speaker (up to 150 lbs) and remain rock solid. Despite the sturdy nature of this stand, it's very lightweight. It also telescopes much higher than most of the competitors. In the end, you'll save a lot of time and annoyance by going with this stand first. I bought Pyle's comparable version first and ended up returning it and going with this Ultimate Stand.     best value after thorough research

    strong/ light. My Mackey speaker weighs under 40lbs, so I knew it would be very stable on this stand. I bought an open-box return which looked brand-new, and the price was right. Very happy.
